Mayfair Kitchen Studio

Quite simply, our aim is to provide a friendly, professional and helpful experience guiding our clients through a well-thought Kitchen design to a final successful kitchen installation with minimum inconvenience. With over 35 years experience in kitchen and interior design we feel we are well placed to help even the most discerning of clients. There is no style or taste we cannot cater for and no aspect of a project we cannot undertake with our in-house team. Visit one of our Cheshire and Wirral showrooms to speak to our experienced kitchen designers.

In 1982, we took on a young 15-year-old apprentice. In 1988, he won a national award for quality of fitting. Today he’s our chief fitter. Our fitters have been employed with us for over 20 years.

HISTORY OF MAYFAIR

1983
Founded by John and Terry Shaw. John had a background in architectural Design and Terry was a craftsman- A perfect blend
1985
Our Famous Fleur de Lys Van was brought in to make all our deliveries
1988
Steve Vaughan was taken on as an Apprentice and is today our Chief fitter.
1993
Appointed an official AGA showroom
1994
Ed Smith joins us as Designer and resident Artist. Today you will find Ed expertly fitting our Painted Kitchens, putting his artist background to great use.
1995
One of our projects in Heswall was awarded National Design of the year along with National Fit of the year by the prestigious Scottwood of Nottingham.
1996
We became Charles Yorke partners and welcomed our first displays in our Bebington showroom
1997
Our Kitchens Featured in the AGA Knutsford/Wilmslow showroom
1998
Appointed a Neff 5 start Master Partner
2002
Became Members of the KBSA - Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom Specialists Association
2008
Our Tarporley showroom opened showcasing more Kitchen Styles
2012
Our Cheshire Oaks Showroom opened its doors showcasing the very latest kitchen trends.
2020
We welcomed Bora as a partner
2023
We said goodbye to our original Wirral showroom as we looked at the future at Cheshire Oaks Location
2024
We will welcome our first Charles Yorke Display to feature in our Cheshire Oaks showroom along with becoming a certified Siemens Studioline Partner.
