We have just had the pleasure of having our beautiful new kitchen installed by Mayfair. The initial design consultation with John was first class - he took the time to consider our exact needs and came up with many different designs before we settled on the final one. Our ideas were considered at every stage and nothing was too much trouble. The actual installation itself was equally impressive. The team of Pete, Ed and Steve were so professional, tidy and generally a pleasure to have in our home. We now have a fabulous new kitchen which we look forward to enjoying for many years.
After looking at a number of local kitchen suppliers and obtaining quotes we decided to go with Mayfair. They were the only company that we felt were prepared to listen to our requirements and design a kitchen we wanted. We met with John at the showroom and our house on many occasions and felt he really understood what we were after. There was no sales pressure and after several months we agreed the design and specification. A date was set for the work to commence in April 22 and the build was started on that date. Several weeks later we have a beautifully finished product. Many thanks to Eddie, Steve and Peter. All the trades were prompt and excellent and clearly have a great relationship with Mayfair. The process could not have gone smoother and we couldn't be happier with the kitchen.
Wonderful gent who chatted with us inside although not able to offer worktops alone. He gave us some great advice and was really helpful, even giving us some builders he would recommend for house extensions. No hard sell on anything. Some lovely kitchen units in the show room.
Throughout the project, Mayfair were professional, reliable and easy to deal with. The project was well co-ordinated and the finished product has exceeded expectations.

Working tirelessly around my own requirements and with great care and attention to detail. Going out of their way to help and support with any slight changes as and when necessary. The disruption of having a new kitchen made easier by the consideration of the brilliant installation teams who were courteous, professional and respectful of the fact that your home is being invaded! Pete and Ed ensured the project ran ‘like a well-oiled machine’ (a quote from their own tradesmen), which is a perfect description.

The Staff at Mayfair kitchens work to a very high standard and are very professional, there fitters have been fitting for over 25 years, so are very experienced and know there stuff. Pete and John including the fitters go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is happy. Repeat customers says it all ! Highly recommended.

Our son used Mayfair 12 months previously and we were very impressed with the quality of the product so we decided to visit John in the Bebington showroom.From the onset we felt confident that our ideas were listened to and we appreciated the advice and attention to detail we were given. Once we had confirmed the design we were given a starting date and Steve the fitter arrived on time and everything, the strip out, the electrician, the plasterers and the final fitting of our new kitchen was carried out professionally including the quartz worktop. We are so delighted with our new kitchen and would recommend Mayfair to anyone looking to have a first class product.

It is over 7 years since our Mayfair kitchen was fitted and it still looks and feels like new. They were extremely helpful when our dishwasher needed replacing recently. Steve sorted it very quickly. We cannot recommend Mayfair kitchen studios too highly

Mayfair is a truly amazing company. It is a family run business owned by John and now joined by his son Pete. They are the most knowledgeable, considerate, understanding reliable and friendly people I have ever dealt with. John has designed and fitted 2 kitchens for us in 2 different houses over the years- the last one being 15 years ago. The reason I am writing a review now is to thank John and Pete and to let other potential customers know what fantastic after sales service this company offer. Their guarantee is for 5 years but after all this time they are still dealing with any problems I have. These are related to electrical goods which after 15 years is only to be expected. They recently supplied and fitted a new combi microwave and warming drawer. Mayfair has also sorted out a repair to dishwasher door which was damaged by another trades person. I know that any problems I have will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. They have excellent fitters- Ed and Steve. When I look at the fantastic range of kitchens on display at Mayfair I would love to have a new kitchen. Unfortunately the quality of workmanship and fittings make mine still look new so I cannot justify it yet. When I can it will obviously be Mayfair again. Thank you John, Pete Ed and Steve.

I cannot praise Mayfair kitchens highly enough. Our kitchen was fitted many years ago. This does not stop the team looking after their customers. Our under sink cupboard broke. I contacted Steve, in the showroom, and he organised new brackets. Pete arranged a time & date for the brackets to be replaced. A big thank you to all at Mayfair Kitchens who recently undertook significant building work for us which involved remodelling three rooms to create a fantastic kitchen/dining/living area.
John came up with a draft plan and together we discussed and modified it until we were happy with the final design. An installation date was agreed and the work began on schedule.
Steve and his team did a brilliant job of stripping out the rooms and made sure that the areas being worked on were left clean and tidy at the end of each day. He also managed the electricians, plasterers and plumbers who all arrived as scheduled, were hard working and did an excellent job. Nothing was too much trouble.
Again, Steve did a superb job of installing the new kitchen with his professionalism and attention to detail exceeding our expectations. It was a pleasure to have someone who not only took pride in his work but was also happy to carry out any additional requests we made.
As in life, there were a couple of glitches but we can honestly say, Mayfair’s customer service is as good as their quality workmanship. Without question, they replaced parts and resolved problems immediately. The work was completed not only to our satisfaction but ahead of schedule.
We are more than happy with the end result. The space John and the team have created is amazing and the new kitchen installed is everything we wanted. We would certainly use Mayfair Kitchens again and are more than happy to recommend them.

We had our kitchen designed by Mayfair Kitchens (John) and extended by builders John recommended. 5 star from start to finish. Excellent detail and time spent on every aspect. Kitchen fitters, plasterers, electricians all did a wonderful job - all came on the days they specified and went very smoothly from start to finish. Mayfair have recently completed a utility room remodel for us, they had previously fiited a new kitchen for us a number of years ago. Once again they delivered excellent customer service from start to finish.

Start dates were agreed and every aspect of the installation were completed on time, Gareth the fitter was extremely professional and nothing was to much trouble, plasterers and electricians all turned up on time and the project was extremely well managed,

We have recently extended our kitchen and we used Mayfair. Thanks for their professionalism and great eye for detail we have now got Our dream kitchen and living space . I thoroughly recommend them and wish to thank them for all the help and advice.
Mayfair fitted our kitchen in 2013. When we first approached them we thought that the price was too high, but changed our minds. We are so glad we did.
The whole team who worked on our kitchen was lovely, pleasant, competent and helpful. I would go so far as to say that they became friends. Ed, Steve, Andy, other Steve were all excellent.
The final result, which involved removing walls, moving the doors and boiler, putting in an RSJ etc was logical and completely to our satisfaction.
So happy were we that we got them to put in an ensuite.
And then a new bathroom/toilet/shower.
However…
10 years down the line. We lost the plug for the kitchen sink. John Shaw replaced it without charge.
There was a leak from the shower room. John sent Ed to fix it – without charge.
I have read the negative reviews on this site and do not understand how they can be referring to the same company.
We would recommend Mayfair without hesitation. What service!

Firstly I want to say we really did our homework and visited many different kitchen and interior showrooms for inspiration and ideas. What was so refreshing was the laid back and no hassle approach of allowing us to view displays and samples and ask ay questions we had.
We had numerous quotations from different Companies and in the end we chose Mayfair. We could not be more happy. Yes ther are cheaper alternatives out there but they will undoubtedly come with drawn backs. Nothing is ever to much trouble for the team even after I had tweaked and tweaked our design and borrowed endless samples or colours and worktops. We knew we were in safe hands and always felt like that Mayfair would not let us make a mistake on choices with out telling us what we had to do.
The installation was pretty seamless and Mayfair even went above and beyond to get there electrical to adjust some electrics our builder had originally put in before done design changes with out charge. I even had a few ammendments to my worktops and drainer area last minute which Ben accommodated with out any issue at all, he even provided me with a free quart draining board matching my tops. There after sales serive has been amazing to for a small company also which I value very highly. I can not recommend Mayfair highly enough to anyone looking for a new kitchen or even just after some advice. We all love our new kitchen.

John was able to completely redesign our space to suit our needs and make the most out of our space. Had my kitchen designed and installed by John and his team towards the end of 2019. I cannot fault any aspect of the entire design and fitting of the kitchen. We can honestly say it has been a pleasurable experience from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. John has a professional and experienced team who completed the installation with only one or two minor snags which were very quickly and easily rectified during the installation period.
We were a bit apprehensive as the work was quite extensive involving a strip out, complete re-plaster, new electrics and a small degree of building work, however everything went really smoothly, exactly to plan and with no delays. We are very discerning when it comes to work on our house and we would thoroughly recommend Mayfair to anyone who is looking for a professional, high quality kitchen design and installation.
We recently had a full kitchen install from Mayfair Kitchens and we are extremely pleased with the results. The fit went to plan and any minor snags were quickly and easily resolved. The end result is stunning, a friend who recently saw it commented that “It looks like a kitchen you see in country living magazines”. The whole process from initial consultation through design, fit and after sales was very simple. John arranged all the trades and helped us with any of the elements that we had to undertake ourselves. During the initial design meeting there were a few things that John was not sure would work but he came up trumps and gave us everything we wanted and more. The fitter (Steve) was great and managed the project onsite brilliantly. The job was completed in the timescales we expected at the outset. We ordered the kitchen last Autumn and they pulled out all the stops to have it fitted in time for Christmas. We are absolutely delighted with the results.
A special mention to the team who did a great job with the design and installation of the kitchen and appliances. All seemed to be done to a very high standard, with the minimum of fuss and in a professional and friendly manner. After the first half of the year spent in Australia, finally found time to leave the review all the hard work deserves.

Mayfair provide a complete one stop shop. All aspects of the project were completed in a timely and professional manner.
John provided a variety of excellent plans to maximize the use of available space - space that had not crossed our minds.
Work started on time and manpower involved was considerable to ensure work was was completed quickly and to reduce disruption. It should not be underestimated the complexity of a renovation with the variety of different tradesman required - Fitters, plumbers, builders, electricians, plasterers, quartz suppliers etc.... John and his team coordinate this effortlessly to ensure work continues at pace. Trying to co-ordinate yourself separate contractors would be neigh on impossible and would lead to inevitable delay and frustration.
All tradesman employed/contracted are courteous, tidy and professional however special thanks to Ed who was site manager for the whole job. His attention to detail to ensure a high quality finish was exemplary. We are thrilled with the completed kitchen which exceeded our expectations.

Our kitchen make over started with a plan to just renew our tired and out of date kitchen doors, but we were so impressed with the modern clean designs that Mayfair offer that we decided to replace our whole kitchen. This is the second kitchen we have had from the Mayfair team. They initially installed our first kitchen in another property over 30 years ago. This time it was not just a kitchen it was a complete building project. Other companies could not assist us with these requirements. Our project involved the removal of walls, chimney breast, blocking up door ways and creating a new downstairs toilet. Nothing was ever to much trouble even when we requested extras along the way. John produced a great design for our new kitchen and Ed did a super installation. Extremely pleased with the final result. Nothing was too much trouble and a couple of very minor issues dealt with quickly. No hesitation in recommending Mayfair. Quality of units excellent. Great job!

We had a good feeling about Mayfair from our original meeting with John. He was very accommodating of our needs and made valuable suggestions based on years of experience. I have deliberately waited a long tme after my kitchen was installed before posting this review, just to ensure that the quality was not just short term. I have not been disappointed. Nearly two years on and our kitchen is just as pristine as the day it was installed. Mayfair will not be the cheapest quote you get but the service and quality of what they do is second to none.

We have just had a kitchen installed by Mayfair, our original kitchen was ridiculously small however with the removal of a wall we now have a large kitchen/diner providing us with abundant space. The transformation is amazing and the end result exceeds all our expectations.
John's meticulous planning and attention to detail has given us a kitchen which is a delight to work in (thanks John). A special thanks to the team that created this namely Steve, Ed and Andy very professional guys and a pleasure to have working in our home.
We were very apprehensive before the work began regarding disruption, etc however the project went so smoothly we had no need for any concerns. Anything that needed correction or adjustment was dealt with immediately.

We have just had a Kitchen fitted by Mayfair. These guys are the best. we were extremely pleased with all aspects of their work and to confirm that that we have just recommended them to our daughter who has placed an order for a new kitchen. But a review should be honest so I will comment on the "bad" bit first: They installed extract ducting whose section was too small for the hob extractor hood air flow and it made excessive noise.
It could have been the start of a drawn out war of contrition but wasn't because John and his guys not only admitted the mistake but rectified it 100% perfectly. This was certainly costly for them and is something that with many companies would have caused strife ... so thanks guys.
The good bits are nearly too numerous to mention but I will try:
- Excellent insight and support from John at the design stage
- Friendly, professional, innovative installation team. Especially Steve and Pete. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks in particular for the home invented and custom made light shields. You should patent that idea!
-Excellent choice and management of sub-contractors, especially Grantech.
And finally because of all that - a highly efficient but beautiful kitchen and complete confidence that if anything goes wrong with it the support will be there.

John listened to our requirements, we were fully involved in the design process and we were able to meet several times to develop the ideas, we had a long dark galley kitchen which was in desperate need of updating.
I really must pass on our thanks to everyone involved in the process, but especially to Steve who fitted the kitchen. Not only has he done a fantastic job, but he was a pleasure to work with.
The transformation still amazes us, and I can honestly say it has changed the way with live in the house. It’s given us more space, more light, and a seating area we never thought we could fit in. 3 years since we did a major orangery/kitchen extension. Chose Mayfair after visiting lots of other suppliers for the kitchen part of the project. John was very attentive, professional and his price for the kitchen was extremely competitive. From our initial visit, John and Peter at Mayfair were totally professional and listened to our requirements for our new Kitchen. Johns ability to give good advise whilst still remaining in contact with our plan was superb enabling us to achieve our dream kitchen with additional input and changes we may not have thought of. From the removal of our old units to the installation of the new kitchen the process was seamless, the installers were all great people and considering the large amount of plastering etc the dust and mess was always kept to a minimum, each day the place was left nice and tidy. We have had our Mayfair kitchen installed 2 years ago and as thrilled with it now as we were then.
We have an older house and a great deal of structural work was required which Mayfair carried out in a well planned way prior to installation. There was no break in the building work, which builders are famous for, always someone on site. John worked closely with us to design the kitchen, giving invaluable advice resulting, ultimately, in the Kitchen of our dreams.
Their after-care has been excellent, a couple of minor electrical faults being fixed within days of being reported. A first rate service!
We are absolutely delighted with our Mayfair kitchen and would recommend the company to anyone. All staff we dealt with were professional at all times, particularly John, who was also incredibly genuine, knowledgeable and helpful during the design process. We particularly appreciated being listened to about what we needed in our kitchen and having our needs met down to the finest detail. The finished result is stunning and fitted to a very high standard, our fitter is a true craftsman - I must add that the warranty and guarantees Mayfair offer are very generous and help to provide peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Mayfair again, but don't envisage needing to for at least another 25 years, such is the quality of our kitchen! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

After initially speaking to John, the owner of the company,he gave me the confidence in himself and his fellow workers that hey really would give me the quality of goods and quality of workmanship that i required.
I was lucky enough to get Steve and Andy ! They were amazing, clean and well organised and very respectful to both me and my house. Kitchen fitted by John and team 9 years ago. We chose Mayfair kitchens as they offered design advice and suggestions, unlike some other the other larger kitchen companies. Our kitchen is still in excellent condition. After 9 years John still provides a quality backup service, an example was helping to change the bulbs in the under cupboard lighting a couple of years ago and more recently providing and installing new internal parts in the kitchen tap free of charge. Great service and would highly recommend.
From the initial planning with John at the Bebington showroom to the fitting date with Steve and the team - everything was fantastic - organised and very professional - nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend Mayfair Kitchens whose results have ‘wowwed’ Everyone so far - including John !
